Description
This is a view from the Cobb in Lyme Regis.
The gardens at the back are on slipping ground and the whole area has been stabilized by driving piles into the ground. The area is a beautiful place to take a walk and there are some great views from there.
The cliffs in the right hand background are full of fossils and some famous ones have been found there.
The sand in the foreground has been imported from France and is of the right texture for the children to build sand castles. The beach over the wall is of pebbles.
