These Butts are :- Top left - Red Admiral (Vanessa atalanta) on Dahlia, top right - Comma (Polygonia c-album) on Hebe and bottom - Small tortoiseshell (Aglais urticae) on Hebe.

A fantastic series of photo's, each on their own. I love all what I see here very much, my friend. I've never seen the Hebe before, looks like a lovely plant, or perhaps it is a shrub-bush. You forgot to mention that beautiful captured bee, Jeff( bottom-photo ;-)). btw I've looked for that Hebe on the Internet, and found! Wow what beautiful kind there is, I love this one: Hebe 'Alicia Amherst'; I have to remember and try to buy it.
