Deep in the shady sadness of a vale Far sunken from the healthy breath of morn, Far from the fiery noon, and eve’s one star, Sat gray-hair’d Saturn, quiet as a stone, Still as the silence round about his lair; Forest on forest hung about his head Like cloud on cloud. No stir of air was there, Not so much life as on a summer’s day Robs not one light seed from the feather’d grass, But where the dead leaf fell, there did it rest.

An Outstanding Image,

An interesting & thought-provoking image. The Einstein quote certainly makes sense to me, but I don't support the indiscriminate way WikiLeaks has released classified information. I support the release of information about criminal or immoral behavior by any government (including my own), but unfortunately we live in a a world where some secrecy is still necessary & the release of some types of information can cause more harm than good...

A romantic photograph! Regarding WikiLeaks, governments will continue down their path largely because other governments will do the same and you cannot bury your head in the sand. That said, they also do things that are reprehensible as WikiLeaks has shown, and there will be much more yet I think.

What a fabulous photograph! I love the soft-focus mood. The juxtaposition of romance and politics is nicely jarring as well. :P Good stuff!
