Description

Another shot of some sort of Eupeodes hoverfly on the leaves of Dahlia 'Purple Gem', this time of the face. You are all very kind about my insect photos, but I remind you that the TZ is a good camera with a Leica lens...ALL I do once I have chosen the ISO and the macro setting is point it in the right direction and hold it still.

Say Cheese!... chuckle... you clearly have a connection with every subject you capture, nicely captured, the many wonderful images you have been able to capture make people think twice before stamping on some troublesome bug or making the effort to put an uninvited guest back outside.. namely of the insect kind than the human type, that is if it's xmas and there is no vacant seating available. :-)

Another superb capture of the formidable looking hoverfly, on the dahlia ,in this fabulous image, A. I have an American model Tizzy, with a Leica lens, and wonder if I can obtain such excellent macros with it. My knot shots come out pretty good though.

"Ground control to Major Tom." I still say they look like they are wearing a jet pilot's helmet. "ALL I do once I have chosen the ISO and the macro setting is point it in the right direction and hold it still." Andrea, you would be surprised how many of us can't even get that right.

Even if you have the best kit in the world, if you dont know how to use it (which you clearly do) you will still take rubbish shots. Everything on this is perfect, WELL DONE !!!!!

Well, it's a superb picture, i never even get close to something like this... To tell the truth "point it in the right direction and hold it still" is not so common... At least you choose very well the right direction, the right compo, and press the button exactly in the right moment...
