NOTE: (This much more adult story is the result of reviewing some of my granddaughter's ealier books with her this past summer! I'm just remembering the fun we had) STORY: d'Lavalee disguised as Crimson Cape, her baby sister, has returned from seeking her fame and fortune to protect her timid sibling and avenge her Grandmemere's apparent sudden demise! It took over half an hour with Crimsons help to squeeze into this new Ghastly yet excitingly vibrant outfit! Lava paused several times to contemplate her innocent sisters blossoming and now questionable virtues! The folk in the big city, all 208 of them, where Lava is an elite haute couture and hand-foot model (why both photographers insist on full figure shots to record a ring or ankle bracelet she does not understand) presented her with this bedraggled rusted cleaver to wield. They all wished her success in her pursuit of the black carnivorous beast under suspicion of several felonies. All the other wolves have turned their backs to him! It still appears capable of smashing some wolfish bones -- (nothing personal R.L. Teehehee) If she is successful in the elimination of this hyaneous threat, with the woodsman and her husband volunteering as decoys (A tip of the hat to them) all the forest inhabitants will be cordially invited to a 'Curds and Whey Celebration' hosted by The Muffots of Tuffetville, The Peeps of Little Bow Valley and 'Trois Petit Cochons' to be held at the Big Goldbrick House on Huff-N-Puffy Lane! (Wolves and spiders excluded, skunks and wolverines admitted after diligent bathing, also please watch for any lost sheep along the way) You are encouraged to provide additional 'Pot Luck' but refrain from including any lamb, pork or bacon dishes. Chicken is acceptable because Chicken Lyttle has confirmed the sky is eroding and is currently on his way to Antartica to take further readings of the depleted ozone layer. (Truth be known, he meet a penguin on the 'IFC - International Fowl Cluckline' that he is interested in, he mentioned that she 'quacks' him up).
