Description

A flat calm and lots of fishing parties. The day was perfect for the Bournemouth Marathon which took place along the cliff top and the prom. I am afraid that the sight of a sign which read '8 miles' made me quite breathless. That cloud is interesting. The land in the distance is the Purbecks, and the farthest headland is Peveril Point, with Old Harry rocks slightly nearer. Swanage Bay lies between them. There is another view Here looking more to the west

Exquisite blends of color and lighting, verging on fantasy, in this scenic pic, A. If I was walking and saw that my destination was 8 miles away, I would be breathless also.

The only time I EVER ran was for a bus for work. I don't have to do that any-more :) I agree with Andrew! This is a great shot, and as Tara points out you can see for ever.

The large clouds hug the land mass as if a day out at sea is no good for them! Beautiful! I thought there was a helicopter in the distance, then I put my glasses on. My monitor screen needs a good wipe down!!!

What a lovely panoramic view of the calm, blue sea. The atmosphere is fantastic, and so very far you can see everything, as the clouds are indeed interesting too. A very clever pic, Andrea.
