Excellent render! I'd say Ed's childhood was pretty scary to leave these phobias. I knew a man who wouldn't look at his own image in a mirror because he had been forced to view his dead father in a casket when 4 or 5 years old. Try shaving without really looking at your face.

I won't sleep in a room with an open door, but only because growing up, if you remember, those fireman would come to the school several times a year and pound it in our heads that if we sleep in a room with an open door, we will die in our sleep. The firemen would show videos of a family and everyone would escape except that one person that was being burned alive because they slept in a room with an open door. I believe that everyone that attended elementary school in the U.S. between 1960 and 1970 was instilled with that phobia through the fire department.
