I don't know where this is, but oh, is it beautiful. In addition to everything else, there's a haze over it, a mist that gives it a beautiful patina, almost as if we're seeing it through a veil. And the angle of the trees in back make wonderful contrast with the horizontal lines of the front of the shot. The water is like rippled glass. And the trees---with fall colors emerging---are like a big plush carpet rolling into the scene. With grasses/weeds making their way out of the shallows. And the boulder in front roots us firmly in the foreground...Beautiful shot, and a beautiful gift for Ronnie (who is gone now, right? didn't he leave out of frustration with the RR 'revolution'?)
