BIOI started working with CG-graphics in all kinds of demos when I was about 8 years old.. I'm now 17 and has settled on the programs Photoshop and Vue Esprit. I've got XFrog 3.5 which I use to create my vegetation.
I also play music. I sing, play the guitar and the trombone. Spring 2005 I recorded a few numbers and mixed them on my computer. You can listen to a few tracks on my website,
I've got my own website. Here you can find a lot more info on me, more tutorials, free models, some of my own music, etc. Feel free to visit :)

I know what you mean...my scene "October" took 154 hours to complete with the highest quality boost and having trees in the lights path like you. I have no good suggestions for you on how to get better quality except for just letting the render take it's time at a very high render quality setting. I think your results look great!

great job thomas, looks good

I've run out of comments for your work... beautiful... yet again. :o) Wish I could be more constructive, but this is out of my league.

Great Job! Love the mood set :)

Beautiful image!! And i understand completely what you mean. I am a big fan of volumetric lights, at the moment i'm rendering one where the light looks absolutely smooth. My feeling is (without having tested it out in detail) that grainy looking volumetric lights does have to do with the atmosphere you are using in that image. Maybe you try that out as well! Or you define graininess as an element of style. :-))

I like this alot. nice atmosphere and great colours. the scenery is awesome.

Great work Thomas! Try scaling the light materials and filters down? Just a thought. Keep them coming I really enjoy your efforts.

Great work dude. I know what you mean about volumetric lights . . . in order to get any decent quality out of them, it takes forever and a day to render.

You ar not yet satisfied, ok, but your "silent night" it's magic. Ciao! :-)))

Phlegm_Thrower
yer the first one i see that makes realistic vue...
thomaskrahn
Well, actually it isn't realistic... some very strong lightbeams in the middel of the night?) And if you wan't to see some more realistic scenery, take a look in the Vue, gallery. There's lots of people doing fantastic, realistic stuff... Thanks for the help everyone :)

I hear ya. What you've done is darned good, though! As to your remark above, hey, it could be a spaceship with a light on it or another planet with a nice big moon.

I actually thought of calling it "They're comming" but dropped it again :)
