Finally got myself the generator (also thanks to the current Limited time offer !), so on my way...
Enjoying this view on the default planet after working through the first material and texture tutorial and experimenting with the Sky.
Used an additional light with the same color as the sunlight to get the front peak(s) more 'out of the dark' (yes, cheating).
This 'default' planet already looks like default beauty to me.
