Are we close?.. Edingburgh, continued. (Zoom is a must!!) Pic one: In a split second this lady will get her biggest surprise in her life! Will she get stunned, scream or run away? What do think? Pic two: Millie: ..The above picture..here it is..a "wynd" in Scottich a passage big enough for a vehicle to pass, the smaller ones are named "closes" are primarily for pedestrians..interesting..They are named after the kind of related trade or named after a famous resident.. Mattie: ..Eh, sis - we got company...Hello ladies..a nice day isn't it? I mean, no rain today..wonderful, right?.. Pic three: Ali: Sure it was here to meet them?.. Chomper: Mattie said "close".. Ali: Hm, overthere is a close and there..and there..not sure we are close.. Odo: Yes, Teddy, I know I promissed you a visit at the Museum... but we have to find M & M first.. Chomper: Did you see the expressions on the people passing by, guys?.. Ali: Must be foreigners...what about using our cellphone?.. Chomper: ..Charging at the hotel.. Odo: Eh, guys..I think Teddy need a bathroom..he is wet!.. Chomper & Ali: What!!??.. EDINGBUGH EVENING NEWS reports: Weird sightings in the city through September 2013 - police have no explanation but as one local pubowner in Edinburgh says: "Now Edinburgh can compete with Loch Ness, good for business.." ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tolbooth Tavern was not far from our hotel and we visited this cosy place several times during our stay. A tolbooth is a Scottish word for town house and had a meeting chamber for the city counsel, a court as well as a jail. Today this building is a city museum and as you can see a pub. LOL - Oh, this is great, Johnny! I can well imagine that lady's impending reaction..... One does not often see a gecko playing bagpipes! Te Und is a multi-talented gecko, indeed! BTW, Robotoko said to give him a kiss for her! I'll let you take care of that..... :-P Great photos, my friend, and I'd love to get a look at the police reports for this day with all the "unusual" sightings around Edinburgh.. Nessie's going to be jealous... :-D
