Description

Part of a humungous chain on the front of a tractor being used to cut back overgrowth from a main pathway on the heath. The laddie driving it thought I was a bit odd to want a pic of HIM, but totally understood the chain thing! See the whole chain Here

I like the contrasts between the chain and the colour of the tractor, it's quite abstract but I think it works well

Yep..Usually the other way around, they wonder what we are doing photographing strange things. They are so used to thinking cameras are for pointing at people exclusively. What a beefy chain though.

I always find it delightful, if a bit mysterious, how boys love over-engineered stuff. There's a DIY show here that's quite popular, and when they're done doing whatever it was they were doing, one of them is bound to say, "Well, THAT isn't going anywhere!" ... in a very self-satisfied tone. It makes me smile every time.

Quite beefy. Looks like its been working out. Even though I know what this is your composition makes for some a nice design.

Alone from night to night you'll find me, to weak to break the chains that bind me. Stellar mood atmosphere of lighting effects in this pic, A.

Looking on the other side - all of that chain might be a counterweight for the tracker!
