My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Very cool capture great description
Wolfenshire
It's hard to tell with this capture, but I'm going to make a wild guess that it is a 1910 Rolls Royce.
wysiwig
Excellent guess by wolfenshire. A 1910 Rolls Royce Silver Ghost, elegance in metal and leather. Its a beautiful image but your technical descriptions are way over my head. {;->

Nicely done dear. Reminds me of a story my grandfather used to tell. He was born in 1879 and was working in a carriage paint shop around 1900. He did the hand sanding between coats of lacquer. The shop's pin stripper was nicknamed Shaky Jake. Poor Jake was an alcoholic whose hands shook all the time except when he took a fine paint brush in hand. His pinstripes were always immaculate. No one knew how he did it. Imagine painting these pinstripes free-hand with a steady hand.

You've really captured the richness of the green surface, and the warm tones of the beautiful wood trim, Tara! More than a car - it's a work of art in itself! Gorgeous shot!
MrsRatbag
Wow, what a wonderful abstract you've made of this; prettier by far than the beautiful car as a whole, I'm sure. Love that rich green and the gold of the wood! Woo hoo!!!
