Description

Hello all! here is my bow uncloaked: It is a Mathews Mission Craze Compound bow with Fuse accessories such as the Fibre-optic sighting assembly, Wrist strap, balance bar and 4-arrow quiver. It is set for 50# draw weight (adjustable from 40 to 80#) with a 80% break point. the draw length is adjustable from 19 inches to 30 inches 48.26 to 76.2 cm) - mine is set at 27 inches. (68.58cm) its height is 30 inches (76.2cm) which makes it an ideal brush bow and a brace height of 7 inches (from the back of the body to the outer string) for those who are into the tech here is a quick definition: A bow's BRACE HEIGHT is simply the distance from the string to the pivot point of the bow's grip. You can think of brace height as how close the string will be to your hand (on the hand holding the bow) when the bow is at rest. it weighs 6 pounds (2.72 kilos) The action is smooth as you draw down on the target. the only way I lost an arrow was a misfire while target practicing (I was learning how to use the string release device at the time of the loss). Above the strings are three devices: from left to right there is the String release (in this case a single caliper); broadhead wrench; and the arm guard. I hope that I have completely confused everyone with my tech jargon and I wish every one a great Sunday

HEH HEH, I just knew it would be a compound Mikey. I used to use a take down recurve with 40 Ibs. Now using that for 5 hours used to take it's toll!

So now we know the secret identity of Green Arrow? It's a very cool bow. I used to hunt with my grandfather. I killed many trees, yea.. trees were scared of me. It was a strategy. I would get the deer rolling on the ground in laughter and then sneak up on them and throw rocks. Thank goodness for Burger King or I might have starved to death.

My first bow was a lemon wood 50# draw. I won it at the Long Beach Pike shooting booth when I was 12 for beating the owner with it. He said I couldn't draw the bow more than once. 15 minutes later, I owned that beauty. }:>~ Cool arsed bow, Mike. ")

This weapon looks vicious Mike... wicked! I never could use a compound bow. I learned with a 45 lb. recurve and got pretty good with it. Along with my wrist rocket slingshot and a boomerang, I could pretty much take down anything I wanted to eat. But man, I love the looks of this killer.

But for your description I would not have known this was a bow. A far cry from the English long bow. Very cool looking. BTW, how is Speedy these days?

Nice looking rig. I have both a recurve and compound bow, 50# each. I use to go shooting with my dad and brother, but haven't done so for a while now.

I was confused, but on a reread it is beginning to make sense. You've really gotten into archery. Well done Mike.

Wow! Very nice. It looks a whole lot different from my dad's custom Little John. But things have had forty years to change. This one, I'm not sure I could figure out where the arrow goes.

That is one super cool looking bow Mike, it really seems to be able to do almost anything. When you have a moment could you shoot me an email and explain how the (string release) works, along with a close up photo as I didn't know they had such a thing.
