I think you could be right !! good candid shot

Interesting...so difficult to really determine without observing more of the body language, but I do not get the impression he is in trouble. It seems to me that they are talking about something solemn in nature, perhaps even to do with the memorial itself. She does not look angry to me nor does he look alarmed. I can see myself looking as she does if I were talking about the atrocities of war with a friend. But, it would be that I was feeling compassion for those that suffered and indignation that it happened. Of course she might be mad at him....did you observe them any further after having taken the photo? People watching and body language can be such fun to do and puzzle out. In any case this photo is certainly an intriguing glimpse into a moment of time shared by two human beings who are seemingly unaware that they are being observed. For me... I will experience this photo as a touching moment of connection between the people and the past. Thanks for sharing your talent.

A fine candid shot of a moment between two people, but I agree with SunriseGirl that she doesn't look angry - more questioning or skeptical...

Hard to tell. He has sad eyes. A superb capture of a moment in time.

Funny, my take on it is that they are just talking!

Without seeing him full face it's hard to know for sure; he does seem to have a bit of "Uh oh..." in his look, but she mostly looks a bit skeptical. Marvelous capture against that beautiful memorial.
