Very lovely and cheerful colors - they're wonderful whatever they are. Nice sharp capture of them!

Here (Italy) we call them "Topinambur"... They are autumnal flowers, and they grow from a tuber that's edible... During the war time my grandparents in autumn went along the benks to find the tubers... Not so tasty or nutrient as potatoes, but when food was hard to find the wild topinambur was a resource... Now I think some sophisticated chef still uses them as rarities :-)
