i loved the apparent chaos here, the busyness of the packed pub garden mixed with the calm of the allotments.

A perfect title for this scene. It reminds me of a modern day version of a Pieter Brueghel the Elder painting. It really is a brilliant composition.

It looks like a scene from a documentary, which I find very interesting, Alan. Also to see this row of contiguous houses, with all the same roof. The allotments are so spacious in design, pretty big. On the whole, the impression is very calm and quiet, it seems like a peaceful place.
