Description

This is an image from an upcoming short story I was writing for the Fontier Explorer e-zine. It depicts a corporate exploration starship approaching and abandoned derelict on edge of explored space. The illustration effect is done in program using DAZ Studio 3's cartoon rendering setting. Only a little post work to bring out the contrast a little more.

This is a cool pov and sci-fi scene. The simplicity of colors lends itself well to the effect and realism.

This is a very strong illustration. The b&w is perfect for this type of space scene. And, as mentioned by others, the strong POV really adds a sense of drama. Excellent composition and execution with just the perfect touch of shading. Well done -- I really get a sense of loneliness and isolation as they move in on the ship that has been destroyed and just left floating in the void. Bravo.
