Description
@ wysiwig has made me known of Banksy's latest project in NY. Since I would now like to. For me is Banksy a really GREAT in things street art. I myself own about 10 photos with original works by him (perhaps the also something worth * LOL * for me on all cases).
Therefore, today I have selected out a picture of him. It is from January 2011 in Berlin. In the courtyard of the former "Tacheles". An international artist blacksmiths, who had leave this place because of real estate sharks. I have written in recent years about it. At present, only a single artist on the terrain. All others get a high severance or were rausgeekelt. No water, no electricity ....This one artist .... staunchly defends himself in a court process and therefore the wrecking ball has not yet been used. Unfortunately, we know who in this case has the most staying power. It's only a matter of time and then disappear also this Banksy.
My thanks goes to Mark today......and....
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, my friend!!

Great find and capture!

Ah, another Banksy! the world should be full of them IMHO - thanks for sharing this one here with us, Julchen and with someone who will probably never be able to see all of them in one lifetime; but I will try ;) I really love the feel of oncoming Autumn in this composition and presentation, it takes me in and holds my breath, like a quote from the play by Samuel Beckett, 'Waiting for Godot' "The tears of the world are a constant quantity. For each one who begins to weep somewhere else another stops ..." Mark will love your special dedi. BB

Hard to tell from the photo, but from your title, I'm seeing an anarchist throw a bouquet instead of the traditional Molotov cocktail. A great image that evokes two others for me: the famous photo of a young girl at a peace protest in the 1960's placing a flower in the muzzle of a soldier's rifle & Woody Guthrie's guitar, which had the saying "This machine kills fascists" on it. The world needs more peaceful protest & less violent terrorism...

Agree, Banksy is a true modern artist! Pushing expressionism to new levels!

Ein wunderschönes riesengroßes Kunstwerk schluumert sein Dasein. Schade. Du hast es für die Ewigkeit eingefangen.

Das war auch mein erster Gedanke. Wie lange wird dieses Kunstwerk überleben. Tolles Werk!

A nice capture!

Guerrilla performance art! I really like this. Thank you, Sonia for this birthday gift. I suppose it would be too much to ask these "developers" to consider that, by fixing these buildings and renting them out as an art space and creating an arts district, they might make more money than by putting up new apartment blocks. And the world continues to become sadder and more gray. Guerrilla Performance-Kunst!

Wonder if it's better to disappear or to be "museummified"

Every town should have walls for such artists. It is unfortunate that their work disappears.
