Description

Started to play with a lighting kit. This my first attempt and it needs some major work but it was still fun to do. I plan to give it to my little nephew for his room. I used black velvet for the background. The model was suspended on a black wire hanger I repurposed for this little shoot. I used two lights, one 90 degrees to the side of the model and at the same height. A second light was suspended above and to the right and forward of the model. Both lights were diffused through a white umbrella and the elevated light was dialed down to about 75% of the first light. I shot this at ISO 80, 21 mm, f8.0, 1/5 sec in AV mode.

Very sharp & detailed (especially when viewed full size) - brings back 30 year old memories of my son playing with Legos, as he often used them to build spaceships...
