- Daz and Photoshop) Double edged sword... Had to do a lot of hacking to get Daz 3d to install properly on Mavericks and a fresh install of Mountain Lion... Rendered out the girl as a test... The rest is pure Photoshop Painting... Basically On Mac I cannot get Daz to migrate my content DB from Studio 3 in Either Mountain Lion or Mavericks... I reported this to Daz Years ago in Manta and they STILL have not fixed the issue (Rubbish Software!)..Moreover they have abandoned Manta in favour of some new, equally useless Troubleshooting System... (at least thats how it was last I heard) The fix here (took days to figure out is to install Snow Leopard in a partition on Mac... Install Studio 3... then Studio 4... Migrate the contend DB (which works ONLY with 32 bit Daz). Then you can install Studio 64 on top of that! Next install 64bit on ML or Mavericks... then copy the entire Daz ·3d Folder found /Library/ (Note - NOT in the Application Support Folder - which had me driven nuts...) over to the corresponding location in ML or Mavs. This folder contains the CMS and the content DBs (ie-updated from S3 which will not install on either of these systems!). Daz Forums... No use at all! At least I can get the thing installed eventually and have my content layout as it was in S3.... but Bryce.... Sore point!
