Yikes---this is marvelous! This painting has almost no person in it at all, but we feel his presence all the same. That violin is almost sheer light here, and the bow is just beautiful, as a complete 'balance' to the violin. And the hand, and the bridge (with your signature---great place to put it!) Your colors on the violin are marvelous---you make colors shout and sing and dance. And a great choice of background colors, such contrast. This is terrific! I want to pick up a violin and start playing it! (I'm a pianist---and the last time I played a violin, every dog and cat within 200 miles left the continent. Maybe even the planet. I don't play well, believe me...) I can't get over your musician paintings: Man, this is good!!! (Jock, I think I've just commented on 13 images! I don't want to take up your whole day! I'll stop for now, as I've been in your gallery about 90 minutes. I hope to get back before the end of the year---but it's been a pleasure. You're a very powerful, heart-ful and special artist.
