Description
Okay, lots to say about this one.
1) This took 130 HOURS to render in LuxRender... though it was rendered at a staggering 20 inches by 30 inches (for print purposes) as a gift to a friend. That being said, some tech notes....
There is only 1 object that was not rendered in scene, and that's the cloud around the mountain. Everything else you see was rendered in scene.
You don't want to know how many groups of grass that is.... I loaded up 50-60 clumps of grass to generate that effect. And learned a lot from doing so.
All of the blood splattering was accomplished via the Multi-Layer Image Editor in Daz Studio.... if there is interest in the technique, I'm considering doing a tutorial / video about it. The wounds on our 'Victor' come from a V4 set (Shana's ShootBabes: Nikita,) the spatters on the weapon and shield were hand painted.
This scene contains:
3 curved mesh lights
6 flat mesh lights
1 IBL
All in all, this project consumed most of the month of October for me. It is, perhaps, one of the most challenging pieces I have ever done.
Thank you for viewing, comments are as always both welcome and appreciated.

Fabulous job! 130 hours?!?! You are the epitome of patience. I'd have pulled the plug LONG before that.
