Description

This is what remains of Bolton Abbey, originally founded by the Augustinian order in 1159 AD, The abbey was partially destroyed during the Dissolution in the reign of Henry VIII. The Abbey is situated on the banks of the River Wharfe in the North Yorkshire Dales near Skipton. The shot was taken in the late evening sun yesterday. Thanks for taking a look, Rob
