Description
I've been super busy this month and still I am, so forgive me if I was missing from Renderosity and the galleries.
Anyway, here is a post for Halloween in the same series of the Motte or Mounds. This is the mound/motta at Treville, a hamlet near Castelfranco Veneto, a pretty town in Central Veneto.
According to local legends, witches meet for their Sabbath at certain mounds. Probably this is a Christianized memory of orgiastic rituals in honor of the Dead performed by the Venetkens and the Celts who lived in the area, as well as later Roman very secret orgiastic cults, the so-called Mysteries.
