Description
A couple of years ago I started building a flight suit for Poser/DAZ characters. Deadlines made me put it on hold and I forgot about it. Saw the movie Gravity and thought, "Hey, wait a minute, I was doing a suit..."
Well, here's how the helmut looks.

Well done!

It looks great. I love the scratched and dirtied shaders. Is it a texture or Anything Goos? I am also curios about the glass shader and lights/reflections setup. Is any of it photoshopped? The glass edge looks great. I usually have difficulty getting the highlights in the glass edges to show up realistically bright. I hope you get a moment to share more about your process. Great image.

Nice work!!

Excellent work! It reminds me of Ripley in the final sequence of 'Aliens 2', when she confronts the Alien Queen who is assaulting a little human girl. Ripley says: 'Get away from her you bitch!'. And a fierce merciless fight ensues, at the end of which the mighty Alien Queen is thrown into space through an air-lock.

Great helmet and texture
Artformz2
Nicely done- I especially like the worn metal texture, and the light inside the helmet.

Helmet looks awesome and quite functional. It looks well used as well!

Good work, similar pictures attract people to study Carrara.

Interesting shape and I like the wear and tear.

Nice design, and I also like the scuffed paint around the edge.

I like the sense of claustrophobia and barely suppressed horror. Great stuff

I love that the helmet's banged up. Like she's totally been there before! Also the little touches, like that background. Good stuff!
