This wooden bridge leads across the river Wharfe to the opposite bank from Bolton Abbey, there had been quite a lot of heavy rain recently and the small cascade was as a result, if you look closely you can see that it has eroded some small trees roots causing them to lean and inevitably fall to be swept away by the river.
