Description

This design is an early 22nd century spacecraft that travels between Earth, Venus, and Mars. It is nuclear - fusion powered and used two rotating ring structures to provide artificial gravity for the passengers and crew. The model was built from various “2001: A Space Odyssey” models found on the Internet many years ago. Given the source of the models, it seemed obvious that the vessel should be named “Odyssey.” You can see all 12 images of this project on my hobby website at: http://www.dcmstarships.com.
