Hi, I am Barbara and live in Lincolnshire. I love nothing better than walking with my 3 dogs, (Large Munsterlanders) and taking the camera along. Iam afraid my photographic skills are not very good, I just point and click & hope for the best. Sometimes I do take some nice shots!!
I have lived with this breed since 1986, before that I had border collies. I was told when getting my first Munster, Jenna, I would become addicted and I sure was, owning 7 of this breed over the years.
Although Munsters are a working gundog, afraid I couldn't shoot anything, so we do other things like, showing, obedience and heelwork to music.
The girls are all different & I hope to show that in their pictures.
I would like to thank my good friend Janeeden for persuading me to get started.
Video's & songs for the girls can be seen on www.jendellas.com

Beautiiful photo. Mine are probably OK, it was poor old Buster who was worst affected, and my neighbour had his outrageous 'BLITZ' display at the weekend. I don't think even he will spend another £1000.

This is a wonderful photo, Barbara. Thank you so much for sharing and brightening my day. Sorry to hear about the difficulties you and the girls will be going through over the next few days.

I know dogs get alarmed and anxious, it tends to be the very loud bangs that seem to shake the foundations of the home that create the biggest problems, even people.. especially the very elderly... or not so elderly. Usually a good idea to turn the TV up a little higher than normal to blend it in a little more and maybe put the dogs and cats in a room further away in the house from where the main displays are taking place. One day it will be banned in favour of organised displays where you can enjoy a much greater experience albeit less personalized as it was in childhood memories. Great capture there.

It dawned on me what you were talking about, Guy Falkes, "Remember remember the fifth of November Gunpowder, treason and plot. I see no reason why gunpowder, treason Should ever be forgot... " it can get a bit noisy, something like our 4th of July

Hmm, had to look this one up. Across the pond here, even with my British relatives, Guy Fawkes Night never came up. Thanks, I learned something new today :) And always a buncha stars for great looking field dogs :)

Poor girls :( I tried to desensitise Maya using a noises CD when she was a pup. She's not too bad but if they're particularly loud she barks at them. I remember the last year that Tex was with us, he was so afraid, Stuart took a week's holiday and we spent that week at the caravan near Bala. Not the best of times to be there. Cold, damp and miserable but at least Tex was spared the horrors !

Miss Meadow looks great Barbara and it is that time of year already. Jane is right - a beautiful expression on her face - she must be watching you!
