Description
Elephant model is a 3DS model with extraordinary detail. Texture was found online and modified in Photoshop. The image is all Bryce except for a bit of touchup in Photoshop.
I've learned the hard way that grass is a nightmare. By the end the .br5 file was over 300megs and took 20 minutes to save.
The image was a gift for my girl as she loves elephants.
Thanks to LinWhite and Jilly for help with the elephant model and advice.

AWESOME!!!!!!!! This is THE best elephant yet. The texture is perfect. You did just great on adding it to the 3ds model, (no easy task). I love the baby and his little wrinkly backside. Whatever time you spent on the grass with worth it. It looks like an African savannah. You got my vote on this one!!!!!!!! Linda

Yes, I'm really jealous of your abilities in 3dmax, the elephant is fantastic!I know what you're saying about the grass, I use it very sparingly in bryce scenes! :0) My father is a collector of Elelphant scenes/ sculptures, he would love it if I could make hime an elephant image, so what are the chances you could sell me this model? Marvelous! The elephant textures are phenomenal. I really like the grass in the foreground. It's too bad you couldn't fill the entire plain with it but I understand that even a program as great a Bryce has its limits. KUDOS on the amazing image though!
