This is a view of Lynmouth on the North Devon coast, taken in October. The bird is a jackdaw. Zoom is best.

Thank you for sharing the info. I would not have known the bird was a jackdaw, although I have heard of them before. Now I have a very good reference as to what they look like.

Fantastic landscape and shot. The bird is the icing on the cake. Jackdaws are rarely here, but there are many ravens and magpies.

Related to a crow but not a crow, but I'm sure he acts much like our crows and he is the master of the territory he surveys! A totally great shot to catch such a wide DOF!

Such an interesting photo, Jeff. How little those boats seem to be, so I guess its rather deep there. I love to see that Jackdaw in the front, that makes the photo so much prettier.
