Been a long while since I've done anything I've been happy with.
Hopefully not too dark on your monitors

It is way to dark on my monitor to make out.

i figured as much, but it's OK on mine, so it's a matter of configuration I suppose...hopefully somebody will make it out :-)

i used a cylinder primitive, set the diffusive colour and ambient colour to a bright green and set the ambient value to around 15. Transparency to 20% or so (I played) and then render with IDL turned on.
