Description

I was at the parade and also at the Ceremony and my camera some how took a double shot. I was messing around with double shots before but I know I took it off. so this was an mistake. To me it a happy mistake. In honor to all who was in the arm forces. my dad was there and he was the oldest.

Great POV, and a fortunate bit of serendipity in this cool homage to our veterans, past and present. Easy for a film camera to take a double exposure, but really a mystery with a digital camera.

I'm back, Jock...This photo is amazing---you must have had your camera in a wonderful place when the mistake happened, because the results are amazing. YOu have that woman flag-carrier in the center, and she's almost a "spirit", and it's just beautiful. The effects of the "ghost" people mixed with the flags and the auditorium are wonderful. And that big flag on the wall---on the left side---is beautiful. It's almost like this ceremony included people who are alive and people who have passed on. I must say, this is one of the most beautiful mistakes I've ever seen from a photographer. A beautiful tribute to those who've served, including your dad. Your inner eye must have been very happy with this result.
