Description
This is a pic of my Dad a year before I was born. It was taken in August 1940 and is a pic of him in his Home Guard uniform (Dads Army). He was 39 years old at this time and I post it in remembrance of all who fought in the wars.
He died in 1978 aged 77 years.

That is an awesome photo and dedication Jeff. The guys that I hang around these days feel that your Dad and the men and women that served in WW II actually saved the world. God Bless them all!!!!!

Thank you so much for sharing your dad with us, Jeff. It is such a kind, and brave man. Also it is great that your dad came home safe (I suspect so) from the war. A cute dog your family had. It's a lovely dedi, my friend..
