Jock, you are sooooooooooo good! Everytime I see one of your paintings, I'm more amazed. Part of it is the fact that you painted only one arm, a part of his body, and the accordion itself (with the microphone on the other side). It's just a "snippet," but it tells us everything we need to know. Instead of seeing the keys, we see the accordion bellows, and a few of the rods on the far right. With the bellows stretched in a curve, we know all we need the musician is playing in full wind. And that beautiful orange against that blue background---great contrast. Wonderful "slice of life"; and another wonderful musician-painting from you. I love what you do with musicians.
