Description
She goes by Annie but her real name is Anima, which is the root for words like Animal and Animation. Aristotle believed Anima was the essence that animated all living organisms - a kind of precursor to our concept of the soul - and that when it departs, we die. Death needs her, for without Anima there can be no death, and so they are, Annie and Death, cosmic and eternal dance partners in this jig we call existence.

Very nice posing "X". The small tree prop is a nice little touch along with the wooden dance floor. As the "Bard" said, "All the world's a stage..." Good job.

Yes I thought about going more grandiose with this scene - dancing on a floor of stars and moons; and Annie as an majestic elfin queen - but in the end I felt the parquet dance floor, Annie as an ordinary woman, and the lone tree signifying the changing seasons said in a simple fashion what i was trying to express.
