a storybook image in content and in vivid hues. The storybook part is in the beautiful way the road cuts down into the front of the image, gently and covered with leaves (like a leaf-covered pathway, as if it were carpeted). The beautiful facade coming through the green ivy; the red on the roof (harmonizing with the red leaves of an adjacent tree). The dark shadows engulfing both ends of the image, a kind of "forest-primeval" feeling. The sky filtering through at top; and even the bench...and your postwork gives a certain, almost 'fabric' like feel to it, very subtle but almost like its sewn together. Very fine work with this finely composed shot. You do autumn a great service with these...
