Description


Xanthocephalus xanthocephalus. Found at Tres Rios, Arizona, USA. These birds often fly around in flocks of hundreds in the late afternoon, in wetlands regions that have a lot of reeds. They like to hide in the reeds. I was able to get several excellent shots of them. Hand-held and hand-focused with a telephoto lens.
