The opportunity to generate thrust without inclining the whole aircraft might make such a tricopter

interesting for optical surveillance. Cameras can keep their viewing angle regardless of flight regime or direction.
In order to make it even more weird looking and escape low Reynolds numbers, I changed to single blade rotors (there has even been a manned helicopter with a single rotor blade - the Boelkow 103 [http://www.ecosia.org/search/images/q/Boelkow%20103]). The higher circumferential speed should further push the rolling moment caused by the co-rotating props to higher cruise speeds as long as compressibility has not to be concerned. I left the egg-cup rotor hubs in place, even though there may be a single combustion engine in the central egg-cup instead of three separate electric motors.
Three pairs of cameras, keeping rotational symmetry, give a panorama view, each covering 120 degrees of azimuth.
Today, I found a number of 1234 page views. Gonna post something more weird these days.
