I like the cheerfulness of this although it seems a bit messy for me: your Abstract Expressionist phase?

Abstract Expressionism was a very significant period in the history of modern art, I get influences from various styles and try to develop fresh idea's from those influences. Colour is important to me although by no means set in stone, there can be periods of abstraction followed by periods of expressionism, I don't hold to too many rules, freedom to create is important but I tend to know within the early stages of a piece if it's going to work or not or if I think it might but at that point nothing comes to me then I will keep it and return to that piece at some later date. I suspect most artists work out of an inner need to create and come what may they would create regardless of circumstance. If all I had was soil at my disposal then I would use that and find a means to create with it.... it's an inwardly driven feeling that cannot really be explained, I'm certain you know this feeling as many others here do too. — by Mark-David-Rogers Online Now! Full size is a must, like the color, like the movement, like the title. It does feel like a landscape with fractal beasts flying about. Excellent. You talked about creating. I don't feel that I do much in the way of creating. For me the process is one of discovery. I look for something that strikes me as interesting as something I can work with much like photography. My goal is to create an image that I and others would enjoy looking at an interesting so that the image has lasting appeal.
