Description
Unicorns mate for life. They need each others strength & magic to fend off the evil that always hunts them. When a unicorn loses its life mate, it can not long resist alone.
In a devastation unknown by any other creature,
the darkness slowly seeps in without the strong magical bond to protect them.
Depression turns into insanity and with no resistance, she has turned into worse than what she once fought.
Now, she belongs to all that is unholy.

most excellent work on the lone and lost unicorn. the story adds so much to it though, it fleshes out the image and makes one want to rescue her somehow ... but how? is there a magic elixir to make her well again? to bring back from the darkness?
