Description

I ask that you excuse the funky sky. I am going to change my uv filter and see if it is the cause of the bad sky problem , like I had in Utah. other wise I will be on the phone to Canon all the other colors are acceptable. if you have any ideas feel free to tell me

I thought Dslr's didn't need UV filters anymore, indeed ? (I use one just as a 'physical' protection for front lens). Great capture, anyway :)

I've noticed that effect before when using a very wide angle lens - I think it's just something to do with how the light bends at extreme wide angles, but that's just my own theory.. I may be getting a 5D in the near future - or at least a 70D.. Great shot of Oklahoma City - my dad was stationed at Tinker AFB waaaaay back when.. I have some foggy memories of it; I was pretty young at the time.

Very wonderful building and shot. I am not a photographer as such but have observed in graphic art color separations that filter refraction does mess up the near utra-violet end of the spectrum which is very evident not only in the sky but the shadows in the lower center, the buildings on the left, all the windows, and the water! No matter how hard Canon tries I don't think they will be able to change the physics of refraction! To put it simply the purple is missing and combining filters and film or CCDs can never approach the gamma of the human eye!
