Description
FIFI, Boeing B-29A-60-BN Superfortress, s/n 44-62070, civil registration N529B, is one of only a few surviving in existence and the only one currently flying. It is owned by the Commemorative Air Force, currently based at Addison, Texas.
I went to the Cavanaugh Flight Museum yesterday to see Fifi.
unfortunately she is in a hanger behind another WWII bomber and I was not able to get a clear capture. she never was in combat. she was built in 1944 and went straight to Kansas. it was almost destroyed but was rescued in 1971
I dedicate her to those modelers that make so many aircraft and make them available for free

A gorgeous shot of this magnificent plane! They had one at the museum in S. Dakota, but she's not airworthy like this one. Speaking of B-29's you should check this out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KmKdA6L_MWk
