Description
I used "Tierazon 28" to create 2 images, I use the "Quad" formula and 2 different filters on the same region.
For weeks I tried to use fractal image to create object, you can use terrain generator for that but you end up with a surface instead of an object and the control you have are limited..
Yesterday I tried an other way, with the freeware Fiji you can use a stack of image to generate an obj file. I opened my fractal image in photoshop apply a posterize function with 10 levels, select each level and create a "white on black" image with it, I end up with 10 images, to give thickness I duplicate each images 10 time, I end up with 100 images that I rename and number sequentially, open this sequence in Fiji and create the base object in the image.
For the blue glass object I use a black an white fractal image duplicated 3 time and convert in Fiji.
These 2 objects were import in Carrara 3D, textured, lighten and render, I used an isometric camera for this image.
If some of you want to tried this method and have problems send me a message and I'll try to help.
If you want to see the images I used check;

Not being familiar with fractal images and art, or how one goes about creating it, I can't understand most of what you wrote about. But I do know that I like this. Very much. Great work.
