Two days later his alleged assailant was gunned down.
Then a nation mourned The President of The United States.
Life changed for many the day the three shots rang out ...

I remember the parade, the lone Air Force piper playing Lament for the Chief and the Mist Covered Isles. It was so sad, so lonely.
