Description

I find this one to post because I thought you all would like to see the whole art work the person did. I know it is washed out some but you can make it out and I did leave it big also. You can see the man did move so I had to take a fast shot of him as he was in front of the art work. You see some other art works on the wall also. I hope other areas let local artist put they art work in a show like this. it help people out so much. they also do the local schools also. They have a special art class here in town for gifted children that do art work real well and it gives them a chance to hang they art work in a real show. The art you see here is fantasy I guess. some of the art is off of movies. There is pop art here too and cartoon art I guess you call it. No computer art. the man that is in charge of these shows is trying to get a computer show together but not many artists around here do that stuff. Lot of people say "if it no in oil it not art." The man in charge of the art place is trying to change that thinking and it is hard to do. he did get tattoo artists one time to put in they type of art which did well. oh I did not get the name of the artists that did these work of art. I bad at that lol. never would make a new personal. the man is not the artist. he just looking at it.

Really a great capture. I hope the creature doesn't reach out and pull him in to the painting.

A great shot of the artwork, Jock! Apparently the artist is (like me) a fan of Star Wars. That black and white artwork looks to be Darth Vader (Anakin Skywalker) without his trademark black helmet on. Very cool!

A good illustration of how the art is exhibited Jock.

Art is so very important to those who make it. The Venice Bienalle included Outsider Art for the very first time this year.

My dentist hangs local artists pictures in the waiting room they are all for sale but I think this one would give the wrong impression and strike fear into the patients.

I think you make a very good argument for art, but when I see what is known as Modern Art, I wonder where art still lies ... millions to spend for some modern paintings where I think no feeling is reflected. Your report has the merit to understand that Art presentation is a Living Art, whatever the modesty of the artist! BRAVO Jocko for this fight!

It looks like a nice gallery space that is doing some good things for the arts and the area.
