Description
Captured 11/26/13, early morning, at one of our local parks.
Much more detailed viewed full size.
I have several pics of this subject matter taken over the years, lying dormant in my long forgotten files.
By reducing the size of their point and shoot cameras in order to make them more compact, the manufacturers have committed an error of epic proportions by eliminating the view finder. It works great for them, but makes it hell for a photographer trying to compose an image when shooting into the sun, or with just taking photos on a bright sunny day. Fie on them! In snapping this picture, I saw 25% water spray, and 75% my reflection on the LCD screen, which is most typical for my sunny day captures, commonly referred to as "washouts." Anyway, this is one lucky shot, composition-wise.

Good compo! I don't mind the loss of the viewfinder, because lots of my pics are taken blind anyhow!

Shooting blind? Most commendable, young lady, but surely you're joking. I, for one, resent the loss of a viewfinder.

You captured a water jet, droplets big and small as well as vapor all in one image. Nice work !

Splendid capture for sure Harry.

Nicely done! Did you get spray on the lens? That's always my fear when there's a lot of water in the air. Looks like a lovely park, those curving paths are most attractive. Excellent capture, Harry!
