Description

A low sun is the very best tool for any landscape photographer. Its the one element that separates good oppornities from great ones. I took this on far western side of Vermont. We had abour 45 minutes left to daylight when I shot this. I would have passed on this any other time of the day except perhaps sunrise. We were lucky to be there. Again, right place, right time.

Know what you mean about passing this mate, there is more modelling from the golden hour and the morning gold. This is excellent bud!

This photo absolutely makes your point. I opened your posting, zoomed, got up and walked across the room for some coffee. Upon turning the golden tones caught my eye immediately. And very glad to see you were up and around so early...the last time I was up and out early was in September 2008:-)

Superb capture my friend. I also do commit myself to take pictures from sunrise to 10 in the morning and from 3 in the afternoon till the sun disappears. That is the best times during the day for photography. Night time is a different story. Than one do need more then camera to take descent pictures. Superb capture my friend.

I love the different colours that separate out when the light is angled low like this; there are pinks and reds and oranges that aren't readily apparent at other times of day. A lovely shot!

The sun is low. In the afternoon, with a wonderfully soft light .... a beautiful atmo and wonderful motif ......really charming with a romantic touch!
