I enjoy creating artwork in Poser, Photoshop CC, Vue, and DAZ Studio. I also have a passion for photography, and have been actively shooting for many years. I've been using Poser since Version 8, and am also learning my way around DAZ Studio. I've been using Adobe Photoshop since version 4. I also use Vue 10. I frequently use my photos as backgrounds, and composite my 3D figures into them.
I have been creating my web comic / graphic novel "The Girls From T.N.A." since fall of 2009, and have been a member of Renderosity since August 2009. I've made a lot of wonderful friends here, and have been inspired every time I visit!
I will soon have a more complete biography, as I am updating everything. In the meantime, have a look around my gallery!
Thanks!
Rod

Excellent action. and your right, clearing a building is one of the most dangerous things to do. US Army 1970 1976.

Superb action!

Dang! Almost dove under the table opening this one! Excellent fx & posing! We always want to move ahead, but we hang onto what we perceive as security with an iron & unforgiving grip. We can miss out on so much that way. Forge on, my friend. May you find what your spirit needs. ")

I always love it when they expect you to train your replacement when you don't want to be replaced! How dumb can they be?? Hope things work out with your new plan. This is an excellent render, by the way.
pixeluna
LOL I can't imagine you wearing the plain gray or brown Postal uniform, it's just not you. :-D Glad you're finding some time to play. Nice to see the trio here. I took your advice, so I'll be posting again some time soon.

COOL SCENE Rod! This is excellent as all your images are. Yup! That's the way companies do it today Rod. The wife of the other toolmaker I work with, USED to work for OSRAM Sylvania and the same thing just happened to her. She had to train the Mexicans that would be taking HER job! Thank you Obama for ALL your help with our economy! Soon all of us will be out of work. Who will provide the free health care for everyone that doesn't want to work then? Hmmmmmmmm ....
MineFujiko
Cool action scene, RodS-san! love these gun flush effects.

Ha, cool scene Rod, those girls are wasting no time in dealing to whomever or whatever.. they look suitably mean and angry!! Bummer on the job front, but based on your last comments, I was dreading it was going to head in THAT direction!.. unfortunately is just Corporate wherever dumping on the workers, treatment is the same in Aussy and NZ.. speaking from experience!!. Hope things work out for you, and that Plan A goes according to plan!!

I know you'll figure out what's best for you and Jo, my friend. Change sucks, doesn't it? I hope you find something to do that makes you happy every day, even if it's part time or non-traditional! Whatever you do, you'll be great. I have faith! :D

Know you had fun with this render. Always fun to try out new things. A quote for you today: Happiness often sneaks in through a door you didn't know you left open. John Barrymore

Ah that sucks about your job. It is a slap in the face to work your ass of for a company and then have them just remove you in a business restructure. I remember a company I worked for stating to me when I was offered a higher paying position elsewhere, "Think of the future we offer job security for loyal employees well into the future" Loyalty was pointed out clearly a number of times. I chose to leave for the new job. Six months later the Aussie Dollar dropped sharply and the original company pulled the plug on Australian operations and left 400 people out of a job. Seems that the loyalty stream need only flow one way. Insert random quote here about opportunity and adversity >------< Anyways great render mate!

It's happened everywhere in every industry.. I worked at one of the largest foundries in Michigan in the late 90's. It was bought out by an aluminum company. They came in and we trained their workers for a month.. we all knew it was coming. The cut the crew size down to a skeleton, somewhere around 70 in total for three shifts. They totally automated the plant and sent hundreds of workers into the cold and onto the unemployment lines. The plant went from Iron to Aluminum in just a few weeks and after several months it shut down completely. Best of luck my friend... Great scene btw. Jenny's crew always comes up with some great stuff.

Very cool scene, Rod!!!!!!

Awesome scene Rod and I couldn't agree more with these ladies attitude. Even when you have a suck job, it's still almost worse to have to go look for a new one, especially as we on in life and the people hiring us are half our age, or nearly half our age. I hope you can keep your job, if you want, but it could be a silver lining where you get a job with out crazy shit, er.. shift work. Train your replacement eh?! Some nerve.
boobunny
Great action art. It's ok to rant, we all have things we need to just get off our chest sometimes. Hope all works out for you!
FaeMoon
Stellar render! I love the action here - great use of poses and effects with the smoke! And that really blows, Rod! Train your replacement?? Really??? Some companies have a lot of nerve. I think you will find much success in another venture somewhere else where they are not making you work swing shift and ruining your health and well being! hugs Love you, dude!!!
