Description
Campfire wood pile .. and the remains of an old shovel that's now the poop shovel. This was taken last year .. I remember Murphy always pooped a little away from camp in areas where no one walked, The Big Dog however, dropped anchor where ever and when ever he felt the need, thus the poop shovel, (:
Just what you wanted to know, right? Funny the memories we have.
Hope everyone here, stateside, had a wonderful Thanksgiving day. Ours was terrific. Zoe (the grandpuppy) and Leya have had some issues .. but thankfully they have resolved their problems and had a wonderful Thanksgiving too. They barely paid attention to all the food, they played and rampaged through the house for almost 4 hours straight. They even ate their dinners side by side without a single snarl or snark!! Sigh .. life is good.

Well Rita, I for one enjoyed this walk with you down memory lane in the Hollow. There are a lot of things that remind me of the fur babies I've had over the years, and those memories are priceless. So glad everyone is getting along better and that you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I had to go through the same thing over the last year and a half with the two most recent additions to our clan. Lucy was a fast learner, and part of her's was a learned response from being on the streets so long. While Teddy was a bit tougher of a nut to crack as he is my first Chihuahua, and there is a learning curve. Never thought I'd want one, but after having the little guy for a few months now I wouldn't trade him for a million dollars.

I bet that is a superb home to all sorts of very interesting creatures! I have a woodpile for the fire, but also several others that are not for burning but for rotting! I have a little shovel for poo, that one is a bit heavy looking!

Well I don't really need a pooper scooper, cats bury theirs lol..This looks like maybe scrub oak??I bet it made for some pretty crackly fires..

So glad that Leya & Zoe are getting along fine, I think often it is good to let them sort themselves out. When we bred dogs there was often either young pups having to integrate with the older dogs or new older dogs joining our doggy family, and we never had any nastiness amongst them ever, just loved those days happy memories now. Love the pic so much and the tale to go with it, sure created a smile :D hugs Jane xx
